Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Sundaras Resort & Spa had several highs and lows. The room was beautiful and well-decorated, while the staff were genuinely warm and eager to help. The peaceful pool area was a nice retreat, but the breakfast offerings were somewhat limited. I was also disturbed by the noise levels, which were higher than expected. Overall, it had its charm, but it wasn't without its flaws.
I had a great time at Sundaras, with its fantastic infinity pool, delicious cocktails, and friendly staff. The hotel also offers daily classes for making hoppers, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. However, I did notice that the overall condition of some facilities, especially the rooms, could use improvement to match the high price we paid.
My stay was truly a highlight of Dambulla! This hotel offers a peaceful retreat with spacious and clean rooms. The pool area is a fantastic spot to unwind, especially after a long day of exploration. The variety and quality of food at breakfast and dinner were impressive. However, be cautious around the pool deck as it can be very slippery.
The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially when we arrived late and missed dinner. They ensured we had smaller portions of the buffet available for us. The location is great, and we appreciated the clean accommodations. However, there were some issues with cleanliness in certain areas and varying staff professionalism.
My stay was absolutely fantastic, with a warm welcome, amazing service, and a delightful atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and offered breathtaking views of Sigiriya, making it an experience to remember. The only downside was that I wish the dining options had a broader selection, as it could have enhanced the overall experience. Overall, this resort offers great value for money and a wonderful getaway.
