My stay at Sundaras Resort & Spa had several highs and lows. The room was beautiful and well-decorated, while the staff were genuinely warm and eager to help. The peaceful pool area was a nice retreat, but the breakfast offerings were somewhat limited. I was also disturbed by the noise levels, which were higher than expected. Overall, it had its charm, but it wasn't without its flaws.

The hotel also offers daily classes for making hoppers, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. My stay was truly a highlight of Dambulla! This hotel offers a peaceful retreat with spacious and clean rooms. The pool area is a fantastic spot to unwind, especially after a long day of exploration. The variety and quality of food at breakfast and dinner were impressive. However, be cautious around the pool deck as it can be very slippery.
